Saturday, the 1st we went to a picnic at the fireman's grounds.

They had a lot to do for the little kids, which was great!

The fire company members brought and cooked all kinds of food.

Here is Jaxson going down the inflatable waterslide.

I think he did it fifty times, he did learn how to wait in line!!

They had the sawdust dig filled with coins,

lets just say he was more interested in playing in the sawdust

then finding the money!

Jaxson did really well at the icecream eating contest.

We thought that he would whimp out and not do it,

but he did and got it up his nose:)

There wasn't much that Kendall could do, but we found things that didn't

involve eating rocks (which is her favorite thing to do outside).

She played in the water puddle on the front of engine 373.

That kept her busy for atleast thirty minutes!!

She also hung out in the swing for a while and ate lots of corn on the cobb.

And of course, Randy had to play too,

he got all dressed up in my dad's fire gear and did the water battle.

This is where a team of three or four hold the fire hose and spray a keg,

while the other team is spraying the other side.

kinda like tug of war.

I love a man in fire gear;)

We were all wiped out by the end of the day.
